Virtual Ride Along Recap

We would like to thank everyone that joined us for our first Virtual Ride Along last night!  We hope you were able to get to know us a little better while learning about just some of the events that happen during our shifts.   If you missed all of the events or the officer bio's, you can still find them on Twitter @riversidepdnj.  We are planning a second Virtual Ride Along  during one of our DWI patrols in the near future.   The date and time will be posted when available.

It's difficult to summarize all of the events in 140 characters or less, so here are some details on the 7 arrests that were made last night.

  4. Police were flagged down by a female juvenile who stated she had lost her cell phone and called the number trying to find it.  The suspect answered her phone and told her he would not return it unless she paid him $20.  She paid and the phone was returned.  She was then able to alert police who located the suspect.  The suspect was found to have $592 in outstanding warrants.  He was also in possession of marijuana under 50 gr., an open container of alcohol, and a knife.  He was arrested and charged.   An additional $5,000 bail was set for the new charges.  He was lodged in Burlington County Jail.
