Ptl. Congemi and K9 Nikko |
The Riverside Police Department is currently seeking
donations to assist with the purchase of a new vehicle for our canine
unit. The unit is currently assigned to
a 15 year old vehicle with well over 100,000 miles.
K9 Nikko is certified for patrol, narcotics detection, and
is capable of tracking suspects and missing persons. Nikko along with his handler, Ptl. Anthony
Congemi, trained for hundreds of hours and have become a valuable asset to the
Riverside Police Department and surrounding communities.
They have responded to requests for mutual aid in Delanco, Delran,
Palmyra, and Willingboro to assist with tracking suspects and narcotics detection. They have
also conducted numerous successful narcotics searches, tracking of suspects,
and one criminal apprehension of a fleeing suspect in Riverside. Ptl. Congemi and Nikko also conduct foot
patrols and participate in community event demonstrations. If you are able to support our K9 unit please send donations
