Camden Man Charged with Theft of Bicycle
On 4/16/2020 at approximately 1713 hrs, the Riverside Police
were dispatched to a business along St. Mihiel Drive for the report of a yellow racing bicycle that was just stolen from the property. A Riverside police officer,
who was on proactive patrol near the New Jersey Light Rail Platform, located an
adult male sitting on the platform alongside a bike that matched that
description. The officer approached that
subject and stopped him just before he entered the southbound train. The male subject was identified as Manuel
E. Semidey of Camden, NJ.
As a result of
the ensuing investigation, Semidey was found to be in possession of the stolen
bicycle and placed under arrest. Semidey
was charged with one count of Theft of Movable Property and released pending
court. The bicycle was returned to the owner.
