Riverside Police Officers Participate in Christmas Toy Drive

This past week members of the Riverside Police Association gathered while off-duty to participate in the "US Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots" toy drive.  Riverside Officers, along with some family members, met at the Target in Delran, NJ to shop for Christmas toys to donate to this program.  The toys were purchased through funds provided by the Riverside Police Association along with contributions from officers and citizens.

The toys were purchased and delivered to the Edgewater Park chapter of the Elks Lodge 2550 Veteran's Service Committee where numerous other agencies and groups also met to contribute to the Toys for Tots program.  A big THANKS to the Elks Lodge members for organizing this event!

The Riverside Police would like to thank those residents who graciously donated toys to our bin at the station and a special thanks to James Henry of Riverside and Bonnie Chellman of Palmyra, NJ who donated additional funds towards the purchase of the toys.

We are thankful to have so many generous residents and the support of the community.  This support allows us to contribute to organizations like this and provide a better Christmas to those families in need.  Merry Christmas!!
