Trenton Man with Knives, Narcotics and Multiple Warrants Arrested

A Trenton man was arrested by the Riverside Police this past Saturday afternoon and charged with narcotics and weapons offenses.  Jay Antonelli, 39 yrs, was observed in the downtown area when he was approached by officers for improperly crossing the roadway.  While speaking with Antonelli, the officers discovered he was illegally in possession of a large Bowie-style knife in his waist band, a box-cutter knife and a controlled dangerous substance without a prescription.  Antonelli was also found to have SIX warrants for his ARREST on various criminal charges. 

Antonelli was processed at the Riverside Township Police Department and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance.  He was lodged at the Burlington County Correctional Facility awaiting a detention hearing. 

 


All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
