Repeat Offender Captured by Police
On the morning of January 6, 2022, the Riverside Police were alerted to a burglary-in-progress to a business along North Pavilion Avenue. The owner of the business notified police that he received a burglar alarm activation, and upon remotely reviewing his surveillance cameras, he observed an adult male inside of his business. The Riverside Police responded and located a male who fit the description leaving the property. That male was identified as Wendell Ross, 62 years, from Trenton, NJ. Ross was known to police for previous burglaries he committed to numerous Riverside businesses in 2016.
As a result of the investigation, it was determined that Ross had forcefully entered the business and stolen numerous items. He was placed under arrest and charged with Burglary, Possession of Burglary Tools and Theft. Ross was lodged at Burlington County Corrections Facility pending a detention hearing.
