Officers Recover Stolen Merchandise

On 01/31/2022 at 3:39 p.m. Riverside Police Officers observed a female walking down the middle of Pavilion Avenue toward the light rail station pushing a shopping cart. The shopping cart appeared to be from Lowe’s. Police stopped the subject to determine if the cart had been taken from the Lowes without permission. During the investigation, it was learned the subject, Nyesha L White, 39 of Camden, had an active warrant for her arrest. 

Subsequent to her arrest, a search of her shopping cart revealed rugs covering electric wiring spools and other electric supplies totaling $2,844.29. The wiring and electric supplies were found to have been stolen from the Lowes in Delran along with the rugs and shopping cart. 

White was also in possession of drug paraphernalia. White was processed at the Riverside Police Station and charged with Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Failure to use the Sidewalk. She was processed and turned over to Delran Township Police Department.
