UPDATE: 9/26/2022-  Khalil Tucker turned himself in earlier today at the Burlington County Sheriff's Office and he has been lodged in their correctional facility.

It was July 9th of this past year, in the middle of the afternoon, when the Riverside Township Police were called to the report of a shooting into a single family home on Taylor Street.  Several rounds from a handgun were fired at numerous people standing outside of the home.  No one was hit by the gunfire, however, at least 4 rounds were found to have struck the residence, with rounds embedded into walls inside the home, along with one round striking the family's refrigerator.  The suspects were described as 5-6 thin black males wearing ski-masks who escaped from the scene on foot.

The initial investigation led to Riverside Detectives identifying several suspects in this shooting.  They also developed credible information that this incident was in retaliation for the shooting that occurred along Cleveland Avenue in Riverside Township on April 25th.  The investigation continued, along with assistance from the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office, and four residential search warrants were served on July 19 in Riverside Township.  As a result of this ongoing investigation, criminal charges have been filed against Khalil Tucker, 18 yrs, a former Riverside resident who now resides in Trenton, NJ.

Tucker is charged with:

Unlawful Possession of a Firearm (2nd degree)
Possession of a Firearm for Unlawful Purposes (2nd degree)
Aggravated Assault (Pointing a Firearm)  (4th degree)

A WARRANT has been issued for the ARREST of Khalil Tucker.

The investigations for both of these shootings is ONGOING and additional arrests are expected.
