Pennsylvania Fugitive Arrested

Wanted for Violation of Parole on Narcotics Offenses

Riverside – This past week, the Riverside Police were actively patrolling an area within the township after several citizens reported seeing activity related to narcotics distribution.  A Riverside patrolman conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in that area.  After a brief investigation in which the suspect provided a false name to police, the driver was eventually identified as Rocco L. Wing, 48 yrs, of Philadelphia, Pa.  Wing was found to have an active WARRANT for his arrest out of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for a parole violation in 2021 in relation to illegal narcotics offenses.  Wing was wanted for approximately two years before being stopped by the Riverside officer. 

 

Rocco L. Wing, 48 yrs

Wing was taken into custody and charged with being a Fugitive from Justice and Hindering Apprehension along with numerous motor vehicle violations.   He was lodged at the Burlington County Correctional Facility pending an extradition hearing to Pennsylvania.
