Riverside - Early Sunday morning, Riverside Township officers responded to a call along North Pavilion Avenue for an overturned motor vehicle.  The investigation revealed the driver was operating a Nissan Altima at a high rate of speed when it exited the roadway.  The vehicle then struck a commercial building sign sending the vehicle into the air.  The vehicle then struck several parked cars causing it to roll over several times.  Officers arrived to find the overturned Nissan with heavy damage and no occupants.  A witness reported seeing the driver escape the vehicle and run from the scene just before police arrived.  None of the parked vehicles were occupied and no one at the scene was injured.
