Car Thief Identified, Arrest Warrant Issued

On the morning of October 8, 2024, Riverside Township Police were called out to investigate the report of a stolen motor vehicle on Jefferson Street. Patrol Officers were able to locate video of the vehicle leaving the area toward Delanco Township. Riverside Detectives began an immediate follow up investigation and recovered additional electronic evidence tracking the suspect's movements. Riverside Detectives were able to identify the suspect as Justin Lopez, 26, of Staten Island, New York. The stolen vehicle was recovered in Staten Island and returned to owner. Lopez was charged with Theft of a Motor Vehicle (3rd degree) and a WARRANT has been issued for his arrest.
