Riverside Police Department Welcomes New Police Chaplain
Chaplain Vaz will join our current Police Chaplain, Reverend Theodore King, in providing
spiritual and emotional support to our officers, their families, and members of
our community during times of crisis, grief, and hardship.
Our Police Chaplains also provide support during critical incidents, offer
comfort to victims and families, assist department personnel following
traumatic events, and serve as a compassionate resource for residents in times
of need. They serve individuals of all faiths and backgrounds with compassion,
confidentiality, and respect.
