Drug Distribution Arrest

On 5/14/14 Riverside Police observed a male failing to use a crosswalk.  Officers stopped the subject at which time he provided police a fictitious name and date of birth.  When the suspect realized he was going to be arrested, he became violent and fought with police.  A struggle ensued and the suspect was taken into custody.  Upon searching him police recovered 16 packets of heroin and 23 vials of marijuana.  He was also found to be a wanted person in NCIC.  He was lodged in Burlington County Jail.  His charges include:
  • Distribution of heroin
  • Distribution of marijuana
  • Distribution within 500 feet of public library
  • Aggravated assault on police
  • Resisting arrest
  • Hindering his own apprehension
