Man Arrested After Brandishing Imitation Firearm

Today at 3:44 p.m. Riverside Police were dispatched to Polk Street after a motorist reported that a male in the area was waving a handgun.  Officers located and stopped a vehicle operated by a suspect matching the description they had been given.  The driver was identified as Daniel M. Luciano, 40 of Edgewater Park. Police recovered a very realistic replica of a Python .357 Magnum handgun.   Additionally, Mr. Luciano was found to have a suspended driver's license and several warrants for his arrest.  He was taken into custody and lodged in Burlington County Jail in default of $2,500 bail.  He was charged with Possession of an Imitation Firearm for an Unlawful Purpose, Disorderly Conduct, and Driving While Suspended.
