Beverly Man Shatters Window of Patrol Car

On 9/26/16 at approximately 4pm, the Riverside Police were investigating a suspicious person at the rear of an unoccupied building in the downtown area.  The police located Christopher T. Roach, 31 years, of Beverly.  Roach was found to have numerous outstanding warrants for his arrest and was taken into custody.  Once in custody, Roach screamed, cursed at police and refused to comply throughout processing.  When officers attempted to transport him to the Burlington County Detention Center (BCDC), Roach kicked the rear window of the patrol car causing it to shatter.  Roach was eventually lodged at BCDC on his outstanding warrants and an additional $2,500 full bail on a charge of Criminal Mischief for the damage he caused to the patrol car.
