Riverside Police Welcome Two New Officers

(L-R)Patrolman Shane Pettit, Chief William Eliason,
Patrolman Scott Snow
Congratulations to Riverside Police Department's two newest members!  Last night two officers were sworn in as full-time Patrolmen.  Officer Shane Pettit has worked as a Class II Special Law Enforcement Officer in Riverside for the past year.  Prior to that he worked as a Class I Special Law Enforcement Officer in Burlington City.  Officer Pettit is also an active member of the Marine Corps Reserve.  Officer Scott Snow returns home to the Riverside Township Police after working as a full-time Patrolman in Palmyra for the past 5 years.  Snow was one of the original members of the Riverside Police Explorers while in high school and shortly thereafter, he was hired to work for the Riverside Township Police as a Class II Special Law Enforcement Officer.  Both officers were hired to fill vacancies.  We are excited to have them both as full-time members of the Riverside Township Police Department!
