Chief Eliason Sworn in as President of Burlington County Police Chiefs' Association

On Friday night Chief William T. Eliason was sworn in as the President of the Burlington County Police Chiefs' Association at Cafe Madison.  Chief Eliason was sworn in by Mayor Lorraine Hatcher as his wife Cheryl and son Nick held a bible.  Two academic scholarships were presented to students and the Richard Dreby Award for service to the organization was presented to Palmyra Chief of Police, Scott Pearlman.  Senator Troy Singleton congratulated Chief Eliason on his accomplishments and service to the community.  

“The goal of the Burlington County Police Chiefs' Association is to enhance the professional standards of the Burlington County Law Enforcement Community. This is accomplished by providing new and innovative training and working with our Community Partners to foster trust and an open dialogue. The BCPCA awards 3 Academic Scholarships annually to the dependents of Law Enforcement officers from Burlington County that are working towards a degree from an institution of higher education. The BCPCA is a not for profit organization that makes generous donations to worthwhile charities throughout the calendar year.”
