Vehicle Crash/Rollover Leads to Drunk Driving Charges

Riverside - In the early morning hours, this past Tuesday, Riverside Township officers responded to a call for an overturned vehicle in the area of 2nd St and Delaware Avenue.  Upon arrival, the officers found a Ford F150 had rolled over onto the passenger side after it traveled to the opposite side of the roadway and struck several parked vehicles.  Inside the vehicle were four occupants, two adults and two small children.  Riverside officers acted quickly to safely remove the two small children from the rear of the truck.  The adult female driver and adult male passenger had to be extricated from the vehicle by the Riverside and Delran Fire Departments by sawing off the roof of the vehicle.  None of the occupants appeared to have any major injuries, however, all four occupants were transported to Cooper Trauma Center in Camden, NJ, for treatment.  

As a result of the investigation into the cause of the accident, the driver, identified as Melida Isabel Llivisupa Guayllasaca, the mother of the two children, was found to be under the influence of alcohol.  

Guayllasaca, 37 years old of Riverside, NJ is charged with: 

Driving Under the Influence
Driving Under the Influence w/ Minor as Passenger
Reckless Driving
Failure to Keep Right

Additional charges are pending the outcome of the investigation.
