Riverside Township Committee Honors Patrolman Gabriel Gardner as Officer of the Quarter

The Riverside Township Committee recognized outstanding service within the community this evening, presenting the “Officer of the Quarter” award to Patrolman Gabriel Gardner. Mayor Gary Haman, joined by fellow committee members, presented the honor in a ceremony at Township Hall, acknowledging Patrolman Gardner’s exceptional dedication and commitment to the Township of Riverside.

Patrolman Gardner began his law enforcement career with the Riverside Township Police Department in December 2021. Since joining the department, he has distinguished himself as a leader within the Patrol Division, consistently demonstrating exemplary professionalism and an unwavering work ethic.

In June 2024, Patrolman Gardner was recognized by the Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) organization as the "Top Cop" in Burlington County for recording the highest number of drunk driving arrests that year. He has continued this level of excellence into 2025, currently leading the department in all patrol-related categories.

Patrolman Gardner serves as a Field Training Officer and is an active member of the department’s Traffic Safety Unit. His professionalism and steadfast dedication to duty bring credit to himself, the Riverside Township Police Department, and reflect the highest traditions of the law enforcement community.
