Riverside Officer Honored by Burlington County Prosecutor's Office

We are proud to announce that our own Riverside Township Patrolman Gabriel Gardner was presented with the "Law Enforcement Officer Commendation" award last night at the 36th Annual PROCOPS Awards Banquet.  The banquet is hosted by the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office and honors law enforcement officers, civilians, and community groups for exceptional acts of service, bravery, and teamwork that enhance public safety and strengthen the community.  PROCOPS stands for Prosecutor’s Recognition of Citizens or Public Servants.

Ptl. Gardner’s recognition is the result of his exceptional performance in DWI enforcement over the past three years, during which he removed more than 90 intoxicated drivers from our roadways.  Ptl. Gardner’s efforts reflect a steadfast commitment to public safety and to honoring the memory of those whose lives have been lost to impaired driving. His work represents far more than enforcement statistics—it translates directly into a safer community for Riverside Township. Each impaired driver taken off the road represents a potential tragedy prevented and a family spared from loss.

We thank Patrolman Gardner for his dedication to our community and congratulate him on this well-deserved recognition!
