Riverside Township Welcomes New Police Academy Graduate
Blackwood, NJ - The Riverside Township Police are proud to announce the graduation of Ayden Conard from the Camden County Police Academy, Class #93. Patrolman Conard was among 87 recruits who graduated earlier today, surrounded by friends, family, and fellow officers.
Over the past 21 weeks, Patrolman Conard completed the demanding academic and physical training required to obtain his police officer certification, including NJ law, physical fitness, defensive tactics, vehicle operations, firearms, managing critical incidents, and more. He will now join the department and begin his field training program, which will take place over the next several months.
Patrolman Conard began his career of public service years ago as a volunteer firefighter with both the Riverside and Delran Fire Departments. He plans to continue to serve in that volunteer role in addition to his career as a member of the Riverside Township Police Department. Conard is a local resident and graduate of Delran High School, where he successfully competed as a varsity wrestler and varsity football player.
We welcome him to our family, wish him the best as he starts his law enforcement career, and we look forward to his future contributions to our Riverside community!
